The problem with the sportfishing industry is that it is too big. Norway alone has more than 400.000 lakes. To plan a simple fishing trip, a fisherman must ensure that it is legal, and within the local rules and guidelines.
So, to make things easier, we have created an “on-demand” search engine for fishing permits. In other words, FishBy can acquire any fishing permit for any lake or river in Norway. The only thing you need to do is tap on the lake where you want to fish, and our team will contact the landowner on your behalf, set up the paperwork, and handle the payment within 24 hours. It is as simple as sending a »friend`s request« on Facebook.
We love spending our time exploring nature, meeting new people and of course, catching a fish in the process. We encourage you to go out and explore. Find yourself some new and unique fishing spots, and if you see a group of guys by a lake, it’s probably us. Stop by! We always carry an extra cup of coffee.

Magnus is a tech-oriented business angel with solid experience in a range of IT development projects as well as funding early-stage startups. His main responsibilities in the project are related to managing our design and development resources as well as mentoring Tomaz.

Haakon is a renowned national and international competitive fly fisher. Norwegian fly fishing champion and member of the Norwegian fly fishing national team. He is a fishing guide and founder of Youfishnorway – a tourist agency for sports fishermen.
